Technical Accounting Manager

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Manager . Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, excellent leadership skills, and a strong business acumen. The Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with research and analysis of technical accounting matters and document conclusions. Support the preparation of external financial reporting, including required disclosures and supporting schedules. Monitor emerging accounting guidance and assist with implementation efforts. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits and reviews. Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and related documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives related to accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Support special projects, system enhancements, and other business initiatives as needed. The Manager will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred. 4+ years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and interest in technical accounting and external reporting. Workiva experience is a strong plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP for ERP and/or OneStream for consolidation a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
