Continuous Improvement Engineer - Stockton, CA


Pay: Up to $34.00/hr Schedule: Full-time | Professional | Temp-to-Hire Location: Stockton, CA


A manufacturing company in Stockton is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead organizational process improvements, drive efficiency, and support quality initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and a proven background in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Job Summary


The Continuous Improvement Engineer develops and implements organizational changes designed to improve quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance. This position requires expert-level knowledge of process improvement tools and the ability to lead complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Establish KPIs, assess current state, and define future state goals
• Oversee implementation of process changes and track progress
• Complete required documentation fully and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree required (engineering, operations, business, or related field)
• 6+ years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing, or operational excellence
• Expert knowledge of process improvement methodologies
• Ability to handle complex issues with a high degree of independence
• Experience providing leadership, coaching, or mentoring
• Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred
