Portfolio Manager - Property Management

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager with strong financial skills to oversee a mixed portfolio of commercial properties, with residential property management experience considered a strong plus. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage financial reporting, tenant relations, lease administration, and day-to-day operations across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports Develop and manage property budgets, including variance analysis Process and manage monthly tenant charges and billing Property Management Systems Run and interpret reports using MRI and/or Yardi software Maintain accurate data within property management systems Lease Administration Review, interpret, and understand residential leases Complete lease abstracts, capturing key terms, dates, and financial obligations Track critical lease dates (renewals, expirations, escalations) Serve as primary point of contact for tenant correspondence Address tenant inquiries related to billing, leases, and property operations Build and maintain positive tenant relationships to support retention Work independently to prioritize and resolve portfolio-related issues Coordinate with internal teams as needed Qualifications Residential financial management experience is a plus Strong working knowledge of MRI and/or Yardi (running and reading reports) Demonstrated understanding of commercial leases and lease abstraction Experience with budgeting and financial reporting for real estate portfolios Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr Newmark Group
