Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Overview Memorial Hermann – GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for per‑duty work across our North Region Centers.Eligible locations include Bridgeland, Cypress Market, Kingwood, Magnolia Place, The Woodlands, Willis, Springwoods Village, Steeplechase, Rock Creek, Market Street – Woodlands, Louetta, Tomball, and Harpers Preserve. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive urgent and emergency care to adult and pediatric patients. Manage acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu‑like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. Assess patients to identify serious conditions and facilitate appropriate escalation to the emergency department. Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and read EKGs and X‑rays as required. Deliver patient‑centered care that aligns with the organization’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Post‑residency experience: 2–5years for Physician Assistants; 1year for Nurse Practitioners. Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients in an urgent care or emergency setting. Strong assessment, procedural, and diagnostic skills. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree required for Physician Assistants. Master’s degree required for Nurse Practitioners. Licenses & Certifications Active state medical licensure. National certification (valid PA or NP credential). Preferred Skills Experience with electronic medical records. Strong attentiveness, listening skills, and communication abilities. Excellent customer service orientation.
