Overview

Texas Care Centers, are expanding across Texas — and we’re looking for Community Outreach Specialists to help us connect with families and individuals who need our services.

This is not a desk job. It’s a role for someone with heart, hustle, and community spirit. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you’ll be out in the community every week — sharing information, guiding families through intakes, and representing our mission with professionalism and compassion.

You’ll work as an independent contractor, setting a flexible schedule, and earning based on the real impact you make in helping people access care.

Responsibilities

As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will:

● Implement outreach strategies to promote Texas Care’s services.

● Distribute print marketing materials in the local community (apartment complexes, daycares, local businesses, WIC offices, and organizations).

● Guide prospective clients through completing intake forms accurately.

● Assist with planning and promotion of community events.

● Represent Texas Care at approved community events.

● Maintain compliance with Medicaid guidelines and healthcare marketing regulations.

Compensation

This role is performance-driven, with earnings tied directly to the number of confirmed intakes you generate and events you support.

● Base Monthly Compensation:

○ $500 per month to start.

○ $750 per month after 15 confirmed intakes.

○ $1,000 per month after 25 confirmed intakes.

● Event Participation : $20 per hour for time spent representing Texas Care at approved community events.

● Intake Fee: $80 per completed assessment, paid in two parts:

○ $40 upon intake completion.

○ $40 after the client has been active for three weeks.

● Independent Contractor Status: No additional benefits (health insurance, retirement, or paid leave) are included.

Schedule : Flexible, with day, evening, and weekend opportunities as needed.
