Express Maintenance Technician

Automotive TechnicianThese positions will all be full time with benefits and are a fantastic opportunity for anyone already in the automotive field or wanting to get into the automotive field. The job duties will include but are not limited to performing oil changes, tire rotations, replacing filters and all other maintenance related items. The work schedule is M-F 8-6 with some Saturdays 8-3 (overtime is available).ResponsibilitiesTest to check systems and components are secure and working properlyIsolate the systems or components that might have caused the problemDrive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessaryEnsure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as neededInstall a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammatesMaintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehiclesRepair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damageUse power tools and common hand tools to perform various tasksQualificationsUnderstanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilitiesEffective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improveAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
