Desktop Support Technician

*Desktop Support Technician - Job Description* We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to support large-scale hardware rollout initiatives across multiple hospital locations. This role is ideal for an IT professional with foundational desktop support experience who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented healthcare environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide onsite desktop support across three hospital locations, focusing on hardware deployment and rollout initiatives
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and related peripherals
* Respond to and resolve hardware-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and administrative operations
* Manage and update service tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution
* Collaborate closely with team members to support daily operations and maintain a cohesive, high-performing support environment
*Qualifications*
* 6+ months of desktop support or IT support experience in a professional environment
* Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, setup, and deployment
* Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
* Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
*Preferred Skills*
* Experience supporting healthcare environments or hospital systems (e.g., Epic) is a plus but not required
*Job Type & Location*
This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, VT.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
