Senior AI Engineer - Dover

Salary: $204,900 - 280,600 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years of experience in AI and ML technologies, or a Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the same.
• At least 6 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• 7 years of experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is preferred.
• Experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex AI systems.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring engineering teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in developing AI and ML algorithms using languages like Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang.
• Familiarity with optimization methods for enhancing AI training and inference software.
• Passion for keeping up with the latest AI research and applying innovative techniques in production environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain complex AI concepts effectively.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, and product managers to create AI-driven products that transform customer interactions with Capital One.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including model training, inference, and governance.
• Utilize various Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, such as AWS Ultraclusters and PyTorch, to enhance application performance.
• Innovate and implement cutting-edge techniques for optimizing large-scale AI systems in terms of performance and cost.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One.
