Description

American Traveler is seeking a Chemo-Certified RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring ONS Chemo Bio Certification and recent trauma experience.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 40 hours per week
• Med/Surg Oncology unit within a hospital setting

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy (Chemo Bio) and BLS
• Preferred certification: OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• Must have recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years
• Two manager references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Applies critical thinking to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, modifying the care plan or escalating to the care team as necessary
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
