Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite | Every third weekend and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including potential care of COVID-positive patients
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to rehabilitation unit as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to work every third weekend and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with rehabilitation unit workflows
