ComForCare Home Care is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are interested in working on an as-needed (PRN) basis .

This is a great opportunity for an experienced caregiver who wants flexibility, would like to supplement their current income, or enjoys picking up additional shifts without committing to a regular full-time schedule.

How Our PRN Position Works

As a PRN caregiver, you will have the opportunity to pick up available shifts based on client needs, caregiver call-outs, vacations, schedule changes, and other coverage needs.

There are no guaranteed weekly hours with this position. Instead, you choose from available shifts that work with your schedule.

We value caregivers who are willing to step in and help our clients when unexpected coverage needs arise. Qualifying shifts may include additional incentives such as:

• PRN/Open Shift Premium: Additional hourly pay for designated PRN shifts
• Last-Minute Coverage: Additional incentive for qualifying shifts accepted within 24 hours
• Same-Day Call-Out Coverage: Higher premium or pickup bonus for qualifying emergency coverage
• Weekend & High-Need Shifts: Additional incentives may be offered for designated difficult-to-fill shifts
• Reliability Incentives: Additional recognition or bonuses may be available for PRN caregivers who consistently accept and successfully complete coverage

Incentives are based on qualifying shifts and are paid after the shift is successfully completed.

What You'll Do

Our caregivers provide one-on-one care and companionship to clients in their homes. Depending on the client's care plan, responsibilities may include personal care, bathing and grooming assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation/errands, and other approved activities of daily living.

Accurate and timely documentation of care provided is an important part of this position.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

Dependable and responsive when accepting a shift; compassionate and comfortable working with seniors and adults who need assistance; able to communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff; willing to follow individual client care plans; and committed to completing scheduled shifts once they have been accepted.

Because our clients depend on us for their care, reliability is extremely important.

PRN/as-needed employment does not guarantee a minimum number of hours. Available hours will vary based on client and agency needs. Additional premiums and bonuses apply only to shifts specifically designated as qualifying for an incentive.
