Estate Planning Paralegal

Davidson Law Group is a thriving boutique law firm that specializes in estate planning, probate and elder law. With offices in Fort Worth, Tyler, Allen, Flower Mound, Keller/Southlake and Dallas, at DLG we are dedicated to excellence and making tangible differences in the lives of our clients, community, and team members. We are currently seeking a Paralegal with experience in estate planning to join our Fort Worth office. This position offers the opportunity to work with seasoned Attorneys and Paralegals in an environment of collaboration that values client service, teamwork, and professional development. Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, deeds, powers of attorney, etc.) Assist with case management/deadline tracking Interfacing with clients and other necessary parties via phone, email and text Maintain and organize client files Support trust funding and asset alignment processes Miscellaneous administrative tasks as necessary to support the attorneys, other paralegals, and director(s) of operations Education: High school diploma required Paralegal certificate/degree preferred, but not required Experience/Skills (Required): Minimum of 2 years working as a paralegal preferred, but not required Proficiency in preparing legal documents, with an emphasis in writing, grammar, semantics, and typing High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage tasks and deadlines and coordinate across multiple attorneys Knowledge with Microsoft Office, Google platform suites, and case management platforms and/or ability to learn and retain new software programs Ability to prioritize amidst changing circumstances Prior experience with CLIO practice management software and WealthCouncil is strongly preferred Professional, team-orientated, and client-focused demeanor required Work Hours: Full-time / 8:00a-5:00p Monday-Friday Compensation: Hourly-Commensurate with experience Attire: Business professional Other: Residence within 30 miles of downtown Fort Worth Dependable transportation Certified notary public license preferred Job Type: Full-time, expected 40 hours/week Generous Paid Time Off (Vacation, sick, and personal) Opportunities for advancement Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): What is the highest level of education you have completed? #J-18808-Ljbffr Davidson Law Group
