Accounting Intern

Overview Noble Studios is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Accounting Intern to temporarily join our accounting and finance team part-time (15-25 hours per week) for up to six months in our Reno, NV headquarters. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in the internal workings of accounting and operations within a privately held company while pursuing your degree. What You’ll Do Accurately and efficiently complete data entry, digital and paper file maintenance, and document organization. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor invoice processing. Assist with month-end closing procedures and other financial reporting tasks. Scan incoming mail and record client receipts. Make bank deposits. Recommend and draft updates to standard operating procedures, best practices, and guidelines related to accounting and operations tasks. Support administrative tasks for Accounting, including handling emails, mail, phone calls, scheduling appointments, meetings and events. Assist with Office Management tasks such as organizing filing, handling mail, maintaining supplies, etc. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with the Operations team to perform other duties as needed. What You’ll Bring – Needed Experience & Skills In-progress Associate’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Data Science. Foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles. Previous office experience in a relevant field is desirable. Familiarity with at least one accounting software program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Workspace. Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong accuracy with data and the ability to double-check work for errors. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive approach to learning and adaptability to new skills. You must be able to work in Reno for 15-25 hours per week within Noble’s core business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
