Job Title: Deburrer Job Description
The deburrer prepares and finishes metal parts by deburring, polishing, and cleaning them to meet quality and production standards. This role supports a busy manufacturing environment and helps ensure that all parts move through the production line safely, efficiently, and with a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
  • Deburr, polish, and clean metal parts to meet established quality and time standards.
  • Plug or cap all threaded hardware in and on parts presented by the moving production line within required timeframes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and consistently wear required safety equipment, including steel-toe shoes, eye protection, and ear protection.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of powder coat equipment and surrounding area according to established guidelines.
  • Assist with general labor and packaging tasks as needed to support production flow.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned to support the overall production and manufacturing process.
Essential Skills
  • 1-2 years of general labor or production work experience.
  • Ability to deburr, polish, and clean metal parts with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with grinders or similar production tools.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Capability to lift 5 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Reliability in following safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment.
  • Basic understanding of production and manufacturing workflows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in packaging within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to support various general labor tasks.
  • Ability to keep workstations organized and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Comfort working on a moving production line and meeting time-based standards.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production and manufacturing setting that involves working around metal parts, grinders, and powder coat equipment. The environment is active and fast-paced, with tasks performed on or around a moving production line. Employees are expected to wear steel-toe shoes, eye protection, and ear protection at all times in designated areas. Work is primarily hands-on and may involve standing, repetitive motions, and consistent light lifting throughout the shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
