Senior Tax Associate

This role provides hands‑on exposure across complex tax engagements, including preparation and review of partnership, S‑corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax returns, while working closely with managers and partners to deliver high‑quality client service. Schedule: Hybrid work environment Reports to: Tax Manager / Tax Partner Responsibilities Prepare and review tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1040, and 1041 Prepare tax estimates and projections for individual and business clients Assist with tax planning and compliance strategies for high‑net‑worth individuals and closely held businesses Research tax issues and assist in applying technical guidance to client situations Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm standards Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the tax preparation process Collaborate with managers and partners on tax engagements and client deliverables Mentor and assist junior staff accountants in preparing tax returns and workpapers Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines, particularly during the busy season Communicate effectively with clients to request information and clarify tax‑related matters Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and client service delivery Support additional tax‑related projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred Years of public accounting tax experience Experience preparing partnership, S corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax returns Strong understanding of federal tax compliance concepts Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency with technology, including Excel and QuickBooks What's In It For You Hybrid work flexibility Collaborative and supportive firm culture Opportunity to work with high‑net‑worth clients and complex tax engagements Mentorship from experienced tax managers and partners Clear path for career advancement within a nationally recognized CPA and wealth management environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
