Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection Level 2) Technician to join the 777X Composite Wings Center team located in Everett, Washington. This position focuses on the wing structures of the 777X in the new composite facility. While you are here, you will be involved in extensive, detail-oriented phased array inspections of the interlaminate structures. Position Responsibilities Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment Develops procedures and processes Conducts inspections with Automated robotic equipment, analyzes data, and decides on acceptance or rejection of wing structures Documents and communicates failures with non-conformance records Provides feedback on adverse trends Conducts certification preparation training and testing Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT) 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Able to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis Willing and able to work variable shifts Willing and able to travel 5% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test) Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 in Ultrasonics (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training) On-job-training hours submitted prior to interview 1+ years of experience with data analysis on non-destructive inspection software 1+ years of experience working both independently and in team environments Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
