Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector performs final and in-process inspections of injection molded and machined products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role supports the movement of materials throughout production and collaborates closely with multiple departments to maintain consistent product quality and efficient workflow.ResponsibilitiesPerform final inspections of injection molded products to verify they meet all visual and dimensional quality requirements.Conduct in-process (WIP) inspections of machined components to identify defects and nonconformities early in the production process.Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other precision instruments to check dimensions and tolerances.Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to confirm products meet specified requirements.Carry out visual inspections to detect surface defects, cosmetic issues, and other quality concerns.Assist with the movement of materials and products between work areas to support continuous production flow.Operate basic production or machine equipment as needed to support inspection or quality verification activities.Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to relevant departments.Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective actions.Follow established quality inspection procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.Essential SkillsExperience performing quality inspection in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to inspect injection molded products and machined parts for defects and nonconformities.Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other hand tools for dimensional checks.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong visual inspection skills with attention to detail.Capability to support general labor tasks related to product handling and material movement.Comfort working around production and machine operations.Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with appropriate training and guidance.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with quality check procedures in a manufacturing setting.Experience working across multiple departments such as production, manufacturing, and quality.Willingness to follow established processes and take direction from leadership.Ability to adapt to different shifts and production demands as needed.Why Work Here?You will join a collaborative manufacturing environment where quality and teamwork are highly valued. You will work around production equipment and use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other inspection instruments on a regular basis. Multiple shift options are available, including 1st shift (approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (approximately 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (approximately 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). The work environment emphasizes safety, adherence to established procedures, and collaboration across departments. Dress is typically appropriate for a manufacturing floor, including suitable work attire and any required personal protective equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
