Your Responsibilities – What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more in accordance with established procedures.
• Evaluate and verify results for precision, address any discrepancies, and conduct regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection, preparing samples for various tests as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and ensure laboratory quality standards are upheld.
• Foster a clean, secure working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of your start date.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills in high-pressure or fast-paced conditions.
