Job Title: Finance Associate Position Type: Part-time Reports To: Director of Finance Start Date: Immediate Location: Pepper Pike or Peninsula Campus Job Summary: Heritage Classical Academy is seeking a qualified Finance Associate. Job Requirements Full support of Heritage’s Statement of Faith, Mission, and Vision statements Passion and commitment for the classical model Degree – Finance, Accounting, or similar (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs QuickBooks Online experience (preferred) Minimum of one year of bookkeeping experience Job Responsibilities Conduct oneself with Christ-like professional behavior Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records, handle confidential information, and meet deadlines Dependable, collaborative, and service oriented Process biweekly payroll, maintain employee records, and ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll, tax withholdings, and employee deductions Assist employees with payroll-related questions Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable policies and regulations Manage accounts payable process including reviewing and processing vendor invoices, properly coding, and ensuring proper approval. Pay vendors in a timely manner and maintain accurate vendor records.
