Details Float Pool position covering medical, surgical, medical specialty, hem/onc, and step-down units May also float to NICU for feeder-grower patients Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week Weekend and holiday coverage required Requirements Active RN License (Standard or Compact) issued or recognized by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Minimum of 3 years of Level I trauma experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Additional Information Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with a range of health conditions from simple to complex Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products as prescribed Collaborate with physicians on examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicate care plans and discharge information with patients and families Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Full date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration Facility enforces strict compliance and credentialing deadlines with no start date flexibility American Traveler Job ID P-771976.
