Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Labor and Delivery experience to provide compassionate patient care in a high-volume birthing center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in obstetric procedures, fetal monitoring, and emergency response.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced systems and document findings accurately.
• Perform IV placements and assist with emergency interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth procedures, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system and IV placement.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification with no expiration required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of high-risk obstetric conditions and appropriate interventions.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with floating capacity.
