Leasing Consultant

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant to serve as the welcoming face of our community at The Lodge of Overland Park in Overland Park, Kansas. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is ready to make a difference in residents’ lives. As a Leasing Consultant, you will provide more than just apartment tours; you will act as a trusted guide, helping individuals and families discover their next home. Responsibilities Greet and engage prospective residents as they explore the property. Showcase the unique features and amenities that make the community feel like home. Guide prospects through the leasing process with care, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Build lasting relationships with current residents by addressing their needs and creating a sense of belonging. Act as a problem solver and resource for questions and concerns, leaving a positive impression on every interaction. Collaborate with teammates to achieve leasing and occupancy goals. Stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings to highlight the community’s unique value. Assist in planning and hosting resident events that foster community engagement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills with a warm, approachable personality. Experience in leasing, sales, or customer service (or a strong willingness to learn). Commitment to providing excellent service. Comfortable using property management software and Microsoft Office tools.
