Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Shipping, receiving, and cycle counting. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure coworkers do also.

Specific job functions:

• Responsible for ensuring fork truck inspections are timely.
• Pick and deliver internal and external orders.
• Warehouse organization.
• Inventory movement and tracking.
• Operation of lift truck.
• Operate software.
• Allocation of product.
• Packaging product.
• Scheduling freight pickups and deliveries.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Qualifications:

• Ability to use company software and programs, ERP and WMS.
• Inventory tracking
• General quality systems.
• Lift truck operation.
• Visual inspection.

Language skills:

• Understand, communicate, follow, and instruct oral and written instructions.

Education and/or experience: 1-2 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for freight scheduling of product; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, solve simple equations and calculate percentages. Ability to convert fractions in increments of 1/16 and convert to decimal number.

Reasoning ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and/or telephone keypad; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
