Respiratory TherapistPosition/Specialty: Respiratory Therapist in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience is required. Pediatric and adult critical care experience is a must. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts. The clinician must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. On-call duty is required. Certifications needed include state license, BCLS by AHA, and ACLS. Experience in airway management, medication administration, and vent management is necessary. Skills required include BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. The role involves working with diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services. Special procedures may be required as part of treatment. Compliance with documentation policy is expected.
