Responsibilities Assist in the processing and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Deliver compassionate care to patients and customers and provide high‑quality, customer‑focused service. Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions. Adhere to all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy registration, licensing and certification requirements according to state guidelines. Seek opportunities to expand clinical, technical and insurance knowledge through available tools and training. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Licensure requirements vary by state. Attention and focus; ability to concentrate on a task over time without distraction. Customer service orientation with the ability to help people in a friendly manner. Strong communication skills, including verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues. Active listening and the ability to understand points being made, ask appropriate questions, and avoid interrupting. Mathematical reasoning to solve problems (e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription). Problem resolution and the ability to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong. Education and Training High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required. Physical Demands Standing for extended periods; moving between work areas; finger dexterity and computer use. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, with varied exertion requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. PTCB National Certification.
