Location: Blacksburg, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, ensuring optimal treatment and recovery outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients as prescribed.
• Utilize equipment such as PB840s, PB980s, Phillips V60s, and Hamilton C-1s for patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MEDITECH.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Respiratory Therapy licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP preferred.
• Advanced skills in respiratory care procedures.
