Job Description
- Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and devise personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care
- Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers in therapeutic techniques that encourage sustained progress at home
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure patients stay aligned with their goals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Ongoing education and specialized certifications encouraged and supported
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
