Phlebotomist III- Floater
Job Location: Grand Blanc, MI- 48439 Duration: 2+ months of contract with possibilities of an extension or temp to hire Shift: Mon-Fri hours range from 6:00am-7:00pm, Saturdays (approx. every 2-3 weeks) 8:30a-12pm.
Job Description
- Min. 3 years of professional phlebotomist experience is required.
- Perform blood draws safely and accurately.
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Verify patient information and ensure specimen labels are correct before sending to the lab.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections when required.
- Follow HIPAA, safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel comfortable.
- Help maintain smooth daily operations at assigned locations.
