Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Primary Care Location: Fairfield, Connecticut Company: J. Morrissey Employment Type: Temporary Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: Starting at $45.00/hour Position Overview J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary contract opportunity with a busy outpatient primary care practice in Fairfield, CT. This role is ideal for a compassionate and organized nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient primary care setting Conduct patient assessments, collect health histories, and document findings Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and other nursing interventions as ordered Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and wellness initiatives Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up appointments Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care Qualifications Active and unrestricted Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinic RN or in an outpatient ambulatory care setting Experience in primary care strongly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Why Join This Opportunity?
