You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, and communicate observations clearly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
