For more than 30 years, the Virginia Beach SPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic (VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic) has been helping pets and the people who love them by providing accessible, affordable veterinary care to the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads communities. From routine wellness and preventive care to spay/neuter services, dental procedures, surgery, and treatment for illness, our dedicated team of veterinary professionals is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient and client who walks through our doors.

Work in a State-of-the-Art Facility - Our veterinary clinic is equipped with modern technology and resources to help our team provide exceptional patient care. Our facility includes digital radiography (general and dental), ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, surgical capabilities, and laser therapy. We also utilize a cloud-based veterinary database and digital phone system, providing convenient access to patient and client information.

What You'll Do As a member of our client services team, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for both our clients and their pets. You will:

• Be the first point of contact for our clients, welcoming each person with compassion, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Schedule appointments and efficiently manage client check-in and check-out
• Answer and manage phone and email communications, ensuring questions and requests are appropriately prioritized and routed
• Provide helpful and knowledgeable information about our services, pricing, and veterinary care
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Help create a welcoming, supportive experience for clients navigating their pets' healthcare needs

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping both people and animals. The ideal candidate will have:

• Customer service experience; experience in a medical or veterinary setting is preferred
• The ability to work collaboratively with people of different backgrounds, personalities, and communication styles
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in an active environment
• A willingness and enthusiasm to learn, gain experience, and expand their knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and a good sense of humor
