Travel Medical Lab Scientist - $1,953 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist for a travel job in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent

· At least 2 years working in a Hospital Laboratory environment as an MLT or MLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Experience with EPIC

· Some experience with analyzers listed above

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Daily maintenance, QC, calibrations on analyzers and patient testing. This includes waived and nonwaived tests. 

· Specimen processing including ordering tests, centrifuging specimens, preparing send outs for transport as needed, stalking lab supplies, and routine cleaning of lab surfaces.

Best personality Fit:

· One who can work and communicate professionally with both lab and non-lab individuals. For the most part this person works by themselves, but they do have to interface with the clinical staff of the ED.
