Position: Network/Data EngineerLocation:Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA & Bedminster, NJDuration: ContractJob ID: 178710Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network/Data Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network and data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure, data management, and troubleshooting techniques.Responsibilities:Project based work in a team environment Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA certification Experience in new build configuration on Cisco IOS or Junos OS Routing/L3: Provisioning/Life Cycle/Troubleshooting experience MPLS VPN Architecture (P, PE, CE) experience preferredDesign, implement, and manage network systems to support business operations.Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve network and data-related issues promptly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and system upgrades.Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Network/Data Engineer or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.Experience with data management and database systems.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
