Civil Market Leader

We are seeking a Civil Market Leader with 15+ years of professional experience to join our Civil Engineering team in Dallas, TX. As a seller‑doer, this role will drive business development, project execution, and client management within WGI’s Civil Engineering Division. Responsibilities Develop business opportunities, maintain industry connections, and secure high‑value projects. Monitor and assist the team in meeting financial goals and ensuring a robust pipeline of work. Recruit, assign, direct, evaluate, and develop team members’ competencies. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing reports, approving expenditures, and enforcing processes. Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts and obtain approvals from leadership. Ensure each project has a signed contract to establish a billing baseline. Coordinate with team leaders to build a backlog projection to assist in utilization, growth, and hiring decisions. Communicate effectively with the market, respond to client feedback, and provide corrective measures when necessary. Coordinate and mentor Team Leaders to deliver quality projects and satisfy client expectations. Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field. 15 or more years of experience post graduation. Professional Engineer (PE) license or other required professional license. Postgraduate business education and/or MBA preferred. Current U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
