OutSystems Developer

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.Create scalable, maintainable, and reusable application components that align with architectural standards.Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions.Enhance and maintain existing applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.Integration & Data ManagementDevelop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs.Work with SQL databases and data models to support application functionality and reporting needs.Integrate applications with Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party platforms as required.Quality & SupportParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.Monitor application performance and implement improvements where necessary.Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials.Collaboration & Agile DeliveryPartner with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business objectives.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.Security & ComplianceEnsure solutions comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.Follow established development, release, and governance processes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.3–5 years of software development experience, including hands-on experience building and deploying applications with OutSystems.Strong understanding of:OutSystems Service StudioIntegration StudioApplication lifecycle managementWeb application architectureExperience working with:REST APIs and API ConnectorsSQL and relational databasesHTML, CSS, and JavaScriptUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsOutSystems Developer Certification.Experience within the Insurance, Risk Management, Brokerage, or Financial Services industries.Experience with Azure services and cloud-based application development.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments.Experience developing customer-facing portals or workflow-driven business applications.Nice-to-Have SkillsMicrosoft Power PlatformExperience with the following Microsoft Power Platform technologies is desirable:Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)Power AutomatePower BIDataverseIntegration with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and TeamsCore CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindsetStrong attention to detailEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to manage multiple prioritiesTeam collaboration and relationship buildingContinuous learning and adaptabilityCommitment to quality and operational excellenceWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you will help accelerate the delivery of business solutions by leveraging low-code technologies, improving operational efficiency, enhancing client and employee experiences, and supporting the firm's digital transformation initiatives across Insurance Brokerage and Financial Services operations.#LI-AG1The anticipated posting timeline for this opportunity is 8/5/2026-9/5/2026.Salary Range$100,000—$130,000 USDCompensation & BenefitsBeing a part of IMA has its benefits.
