Senior Product Manager - Technical, Digital Twins, GREF - Internal Tools Product

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is looking for an experienced technical product manager to lead the development of digital twin product capabilities for the GREF Internal Tools Product team. GREF is responsible for Amazon's corporate office portfolio, creating the spaces that inspire Amazonians to make history. The globally diverse team manages Amazon's corporate offices in more than 60 countries. GREF provides real estate transactions expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management, facility maintenance, and operations all contributing to the employee experience and leveraging places and programs to enable culture to thrive at Amazon. Within GREF, the internal tools team establishes and builds products that enable GREF employees to deliver an exceptional workplace experience for Amazonians.In this role, you will build a 0 to 1 digital twin product that creates a living digital representation of GREF's physical real estate portfolio. The product will continuously update to reflect any change to its physical counterpart throughout the lifecycle, creating a closed loop of feedback in a virtual environment. Core capabilities will include real time monitoring of environmental factors, space utilization, and equipment health across facilities; predictive maintenance powered by IoT data and AI to identify equipment issues before breakdowns occur; simulation tools that enable users to model changes and optimize space planning; and energy and cost management features that monitor performance and reduce waste. You will also consolidate disconnected data sources, into a single centralized platform that serves as GREF's source of truth for portfolio data. In close collaboration with tech teams, UX design, and real estate design teams, you will drive software product strategy, collaborate cross functionally to develop and launch new products, and maintain ownership over product requirements, backlog, and planning. This high visibility role will impact the success of the GREF organization and directly impact employees across the company. The position requires strong customer centric strategic planning, analytical skills, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.This technical product manager will lead with curiosity and a builder's mindset, working collaboratively to translate complex physical environments into intuitive digital experiences. They will dive deep into the systems, sensors, and data that underpin GREF's real estate portfolio and develop a keen understanding of how real time information can drive smarter facility decisions. They will work cross functionally to define a north star vision for how digital twin technology can transform portfolio management, space optimization, and operational efficiency across GREF. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. Being self driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities is key to success. This role is a great fit for someone who is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences.Key job responsibilities- Develop the end to end product strategy, vision, and roadmap for a 0 to 1 digital twin platform that creates a continuously updated digital representation of GREF's physical real estate portfolio- Define the product architecture for real time monitoring of environmental conditions, space utilization, and equipment health across GREF's global facility footprint- Build predictive maintenance capabilities that leverage IoT data and AI to detect equipment anomalies and trigger intervention before failures occur- Develop simulation and scenario modeling tools that enable stakeholders to evaluate changes to space layouts, capacity plans, and facility configurations before committing resources- Own energy and cost management product features that monitor facility performance, surface inefficiencies, and drive measurable reductions in operational waste- Consolidate fragmented data sources, disconnected vendor systems, and manual spreadsheets into a centralized platform that serves as GREF's single source of truth for portfolio data- Work collaboratively with Engineering, UI/UX, and stakeholders across GREF on product definition, launch planning, and cross functional delivery- Establish metrics and key performance indicators for success- Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customerBasic qualifications- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product- Experience managing technical products or online services- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPreferred qualification - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools- Master's degree- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making- Experience building products that bridge physical and digital environments- Familiarity with predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI applied to operational environmentsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
