Human Resources Assistant
Human Resources Assistant (Part-Time) Downtown Indianapolis | Onsite | Contract-to-Hire LHH is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant for one of our non-profit clients in downtown Indianapolis. This person will support the HR Manager and department leaders with day-to-day recruiting and administrative needs. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work autonomously, jump in quickly, and keep things moving.
What you'll do:
- Support recruiting efforts for current open positions
- Review resumes and applications against established criteria
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and schedule phone and in-person interviews
- Coordinate interview logistics and communicate with candidates
- Assemble onboarding and new hire materials
- Provide general administrative support to HR and other departments as needed
What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Prior administrative or HR support experience preferred
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday–Friday, 25 hours/week (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- $20.00/hour
