Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This role requires excellent patient service skills, an understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Duties
- Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of pain management strategies to help clients alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients throughout their visit.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in massage therapy and occupational health practices.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
