Setting: MinuteClinic | Patient-Facing
⏰ Schedule: 2–4 days/week, 8:30 AM–7:30 PM

Hours: 20–30 hours/week

Training: 40 hours/week for 4 weeks

Work Setting: Onsite as needed

Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The NP will work closely with a dedicated clinical care team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients while supporting preventive care, chronic condition management, health counseling, and overall patient wellness.

This is an in-person, patient-facing opportunity reporting to the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Conduct routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.
• Manage patient appointments and follow-up.
• Assist with clinic opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:
  • Family Medicine
  • Primary Care
  • Urgent Care
• Current NP license in the state of employment and in good standing.
• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Strong understanding of chronic disease management and quality measurement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems independently.
• Ability to practice autonomously without direct supervision.
• Proficiency with healthcare information systems and technology.
• Adaptability, initiative, and flexibility.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure when required.

Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience should not be submitted.

Required Documentation

• BLS certification from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
