They are looking for a Construction Project Manager with a strong general contracting background to oversee complex construction projects on behalf of the owner.This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a GC, construction management, or owner-side environment who wants to take on greater responsibility for the overall project and serve as a key point of contact between the owner, architects, contractors, vendors, and other project partners.What You'll DoManage construction projects from planning and design through completionServe as the owner's representative throughout the construction processManage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and change ordersCoordinate closely with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendorsMonitor project progress, costs, quality, and overall performanceIdentify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep work movingReview project documentation, financial information, schedules, and contractor deliverablesLead project meetings and maintain strong communication with project stakeholdersProvide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers and other project staffHelp ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to established quality standardsTravel periodically to support projects throughout the regionWhat We're Looking For3+ years of construction project experience, with flexibility based on the strength of your backgroundExperience managing or supporting large, complex construction projectsStrong preference for candidates with general contractor experienceExperience with both new construction and renovations is a plusSolid understanding of construction budgeting, cost control, procurement, and project accountingStrong knowledge of construction schedules and project documentationExperience with construction/project xhyhwjd management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platformsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a variety of project stakeholdersValid driver's licenseBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not requiredWho Would Be a Great Fit?This could be a strong opportunity for a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or experienced Project Engineer coming from a commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, aerospace, or other complex construction environment.
