As the Digital Media Coordinator, your primary role will be to manage the day-to-day use of interactive, digital, and social media to engage current and prospective customers to drive interest and sales.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Execute a results driven content strategy
• Develop and curate engaging marketing content
• Maintain unified brand voice across all channels ensuring compliance and consistency with company voice and guidelines
• Collaborate with marketing team to create content calendar
• Track and analyze platform metrics and performance reports to identify trends and improve future content strategies

A successful Digital Media Coordinator candidate must be a career-oriented, highly motivated individual possessing a strong passion for social media and content creation while having the ability to adapt messaging to the various platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of:

• Major social media platforms, social media management tools, and content management systems
• Video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
• SEO best practices and optimization
• Computer programs such as MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Internet Explorer

Skilled in:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate to different functions of the organization with the appropriate level of detail
• Active listening by giving full attention to what others are saying, asking appropriate questions and not interrupting at inappropriate times
• Analyzing data and situations accurately with a strong attention to detail in order to develop the proper course of action needed to be taken
• Copywriting and copy-editing
• Creativity and adaptability to adjust content based on performance
• Time management, prioritization, and organization

Ability to:

• Take initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Work independently as well as within a team
• Learn and thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

Other Characteristics

• High school diploma or equivalency, a bachelors degree with a focus in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with B2C and B2B social media marketing and content development
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
