Supply Chain ManagerSupply Chain Manager is responsible for leading all supply chain activities within the plant. This role ensures efficient production planning, inventory management, and customer order support while aligning with the plant's strategic objectives and global supply chain standards.How you will make an impact:Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned brandsBalance production and inventory levels with demand to support target consistent with customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization/staffing requirements.Develop Sales & Operating Plan summaries for assigned product families and selected product codes, including demand, inventory and production dataDevelop master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on capacity requirementsCalculate the resulting requirements for raw materials, purchased parts and packaging supplies based on MRP methodologyProvides daily-bucketed schedules by SKU to manufacturing and installs production compliance metrics to measure performanceCoordinate the supply of finished goods to intercompany and distribution centers.Correspond with manufacturing plants, and international affiliates concerning requirementsAchieve target customer service levels and inventory turn levels based on forecast error and bias trends, manufacturing capacity/flexibility and customer service and inventory turn goalsReview monthly sales forecasts provided by the Plant ManagerMonitor monthly feed of sales forecasts to DRP module of SAPProvide Purchasing with requisitions and vendor schedules.Issue a monthly update of quarter-end inventory investment and turn projections for finished goods.Provide unit and dollar value figures along with an analysis of significant changes.Issue actual versus scheduled production metrics weekly and ensure that 95% compliance to schedule is achievableParticipate in meetings and keep up to date on issues related to Sales Forecast, Manufacturing, and other issues.Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decision at monthly SIOP meetings.Identify materials with no further use and recommend disposition.Develop valid, feasible production schedules for finished goods and component items based on equipment, labor, and raw material availability.QualificationsWhat you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field7 + years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong ERP & MRP skills.Demonstrated skills in minimizing inventory, raw materials, & WIPExperienced user of computer systems ERP/MRP/ Planning toolsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsMust have demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to manage others.Able to handle conflicts and bring them to an amicable resolutionDetail-orientedAbility to follow up and find solutions for material and logistical issuesAble to be a change agent in an organizationAble to develop strong relationships with customers and suppliersAdditional ways to stand out:SAP experienceAnalytical mindset with attention to detail.Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes.Experience working with sales and order management teams to support customer needs.Expertise in inventory and warehouse management.Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goalsLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
