It is ideal for experienced RTs who value stability, teamwork, and hands-on patient care in a supportive environment.**Key highlights*** Work Arrangement: On-site; 70% in the branch, 30% on the road.* Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, part time.* Driving Distance: Up to 1.5 hours from branch; occasional support to Columbus, NC.* Reimbursements: Mileage $0.70, parking, tolls.**Salary range*** $24 – $28 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.**On-Call transparency*** Nightly on-call coverage with minimal activity; most calls are handled by phone.**What you’ll do*** Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‐ups.* Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.* Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately.* Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs,* Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams.* Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop.* Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation.* Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.* Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs.* Performs other duties as required.**What we look for*** Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active SC RT license.* Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.* Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.* Valid driver's license.* Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation.**Education*** Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.**Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations*** Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy.* Hold a current CPR Certification.* Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.**Teammate Benefits**As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
