About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9-hour days, 4 days per week with call Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab and Neuro experience; at least 3 years of Cath Lab experience preferred License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: Experience in high-risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing. Ability to scrub for STEMI procedures. Willingness to learn circulating and monitoring in neurointerventional procedures for call. Description: The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in a busy Cath Lab environment. The average number of cases per day is 18. The practice focuses on coronary and neuro interventions, including high-risk patients. There is a designated supervisor available during operating hours. Call requirements include four weekends in a 13-week assignment, with a 30-minute call response time. Float to other areas such as EP and IR may be required. Scrubs will be provided for staff.
