Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Implement Cloud Solutions: Architect and implement infrastructure solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure to meet business requirements.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage Terraform to manage and provision cloud resources in an automated, repeatable, and scalable manner.
Container Orchestration: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS, GKE, and AKS. Implement best practices for scaling, high availability, and performance optimization.
Cloud Security & Compliance: Work with security teams to implement best practices for securing cloud environments and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Elasticsearch, CloudWatch, and other cloud-native services to ensure operational health.
Automation & CI/CD: Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure management workflows, enabling faster and more reliable releases using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and other relevant tools.
Serverless Technologies: Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions.
Cloud Networking: Implement and manage CloudWAN and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) designs, ensuring secure and optimized cloud networking between regions and services.
Service Mesh & Microservices: Deploy and manage Istio for microservices networking and Karpenter for dynamic scaling of Kubernetes clusters.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, development, security, etc.) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

Cloud Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with at least three major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform to define and provision infrastructure in a scalable, reproducible manner.
Kubernetes: Strong experience with managing and deploying Kubernetes clusters, including hands-on experience with EKS , GKE , and AKS .
Serverless: Experience in building serverless architectures using AWS Lambda , Google Cloud Functions , or Azure Functions .
Cloud Networking: Deep understanding of CloudWAN , VPC, and multi-region networking in cloud environments.
Service Mesh: Hands-on experience with Istio for managing microservices networking, traffic routing, and security.
Scaling & Autoscaling: Expertise in Karpenter for Kubernetes cluster scaling and autoscaling best practices.
Search and Log Management: Familiarity with Elasticsearch for centralized logging, monitoring, and analytics.
Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and experience with automation frameworks.
CI/CD: Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

Collaboration & Communication: Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to work in a cross-functional team environment.
