This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology.Role SummaryThe Data Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the data team, translating business needs into actionable analytics solutions. This role will partner closely with teams across e-commerce, retail, supply chain, planning, customer insights, and product functions to prioritize requests, define requirements, manage analytics projects, and deliver meaningful insights. Based in Los Angeles, CA, the position offers significant visibility and impact across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact between business functions and the data team.Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable analytics specifications.Manage the analytics intake process, including prioritization, triage, and stakeholder communication.Coordinate multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.Conduct SQL-based exploratory analysis to validate requirements and answer business questions.Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that enable self-service analytics.Partner with data engineering teams to ensure accurate and effective delivery of analytics solutions.Validate completed outputs to ensure they address the original business objectives and stakeholder needs.Establish and maintain consistent business definitions, metrics, and reporting standards.Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $130,000 - $150,000 Comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, and retirement programsPaid time off and company-sponsored benefitsCareer growth and development opportunitiesAdditional DetailsWork model: On-site five days per week in officeHigh-visibility role with significant cross-functional collaborationOpportunity to influence analytics strategy and business decision-making across multiple departmentsRequirementsRequired Qualifications4-6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business analysis, or a related analytics-focused roleStrong hands-on SQL skills with the ability to independently query and analyze datasetsExperience building dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platformsProven ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable analytics solutionsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong project management and prioritization skills with experience managing multiple concurrent initiativesExperience working within modern data environments and collaborating with data engineering teamsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experiencePreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Experience supporting retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, consumer products, or apparel organizationsFamiliarity with merchandising, inventory, planning, buying, or supply chain analyticsExperience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testingExposure to cloud-based analytics platforms and data warehousesExperience building tables or data models using tools such as dbt, Dataform, or similar technologiesPassion for using data to drive business decisions in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environmentJob typePerm
