As a key member of our team, the Director of Nursing (DON) plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. About the Role:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading and managing the nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, managing the nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, in collaboration with the facility's leadership team

• Manage and direct the nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

• Collaborate with other departments, such as rehabilitation and therapy, to ensure seamless care delivery

• Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care

• Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication within the nursing department

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on nursing management

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
