Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Operating Room

Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – AH Carolinas Medical Center Pediatric Operating Room (Charlotte, NC, United States) Job Overview As a member of the pediatric operating room team, you will provide compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care to children undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities include coordinating comprehensive patient care, delivering safe therapeutic care, and leading efforts to create the safest patient environment. Location & Schedule Location: Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Schedule: Full‑time nights, 12‑hour shifts (36 hours per week). Position is sign‑on bonus eligible. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Previous operating room experience strongly preferred. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making skills to lead initiatives that enhance patient safety and experience across the continuum. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Premium pay options including shift and on‑call compensation. Incentive pay for select positions and opportunity for annual performance increases.
