Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic – Third Shift Location: Cincinnati, OH 45215 Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Some Overtime Required) Pay Range: $32 per hour (Time and a Half on Fridays and Saturdays and Double Time on Sundays) Job Type: Full-Time | Expected Hours: 48 per week Job Summary Cindus Corporation is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our first shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production uptime. This includes performing preventative maintenance and communicating equipment status effectively with the supervisory team. Key Responsibilities Perform timely and safe repairs on all machinery and equipment to reduce downtime. Maintain and execute a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule, including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and parts replacement. Complete tasks beyond the scope of written PMs as necessary. Install and repair air, water, or steam lines using proper pipefitting tools. Execute millwright duties such as rigging, machine alignment, installation, and use of basic machine tools. Perform light carpentry work (e.g., partitions, shelves, framing). Conduct welding, brazing, and soldering as needed. Ensure equipment is in safe working condition before returning it to production staff. Communicate repair status and needs to Shift Supervisors and manufacturing teams. Report any safety hazards or OSHA violations promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or technical certificate (or equivalent relevant experience). 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant setting (required). Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance methods. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet attendance requirements. Must be able to operate forklift trucks or be willing to learn. Must be able to relocate to or commute to Cincinnati, OH 45215 prior to starting.
