Job Summary And Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department requirements and state practice standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, following the nursing model “Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage.” You will also advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission and values to ensure a positive clinical outcome. What You Will Do In This Role Assess the patient’s condition on admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended reaction. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them. Educate patients, families and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within six months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree; BSN required with 12‑month enrollment and 24‑month completion (Magnet Hospital).
